Spring deepens in Jade Peak. The Touring Imperial Censor of Taiwan, Xia Yunzhuang, composed a poem about Jade Mountain, saying: 'The peaks gather, dark as blue-black snail shells, while the Jade Peak shines alone, silver and bright. Expanding across the clear sky for ten thousand miles, it rises like a crystal screen piercing the heavens.' All the peaks of Jade Mountain rise above three thousand meters, their scenery grand and towering. It is the first of Taiwan’s Eight Scenic Wonders. Painted and inscribed in early spring of the year of Dingchou at Jushan Hall, under clear skies, by Chunbo, Chou Chen.
