[Inscription]
The great floods and colossal earth rise and fall through the years, like a sharp blade carving deep into the rushing torrents. The valley floor cries out in sorrow as liver and gall are torn apart, while the rock layers erode under the whip of wind, rain, and frost. The long river flows like a galloping steed, and the passing travelers rush by, oblivious. Under the scorching sun and vast wilderness, I lean on the railing, intoxicated, singing madly to myself. During the year of Guihai, I visited the Grand Canyon in the American West and composed verses. Painted in the Qingming season of the year of Wuyin by Chunbo, Chou Chen.
