East Stone Watching Migratory Birds Poetry
Ink on paper

The stars twinkle as the north wind grows cold, dawn approaches, and I observe the estuary where the migratory birds feed. The wetland sparkles like shattered jade, while the floating islets resemble hoarfrost. Their flight is like white snow drifting in the bright sun, and their perching resembles silver hairpins adorning green hair. As the wild ducks fly off at sunset, the sky is filled, and I am left marveling at this magnificent scene.
[Inscription]
Verses written while observing migratory birds in Dongshi during a cold spring of the year of Jiawu, composed by Chunbo Chou Chen at Jushan Hall.
